Costs are £90 for a full day workshop. All materials and light lunch are included. We aim to pack your day with hands on tips and advice. There are no long lectures as we believe you learn these skills by trying and doing.
 
Workshops are for all levels with a minimum booking of 2 to a maximum of 6 to allow us to give individual attention. To book use the book button below each workshop listing or if you live locally, you can also pay in the shop, full payments is required to reserve your spot, any issues call us on 07342 644 910. Please note:  There is  no refund if cancelled within 10 days of the date of the workshop.

Knitting

Knit our Thrums into a lovely rug using our hand crafted knitting needles.

Crochet, Knitting & Felting Classes

Starting 3rd April:
2-4pm Wed: Beginners Crochet
5-7pm Wed or 1-3pm Fri: Knitting & Fair Isle
In 6 Week blocks: 6 Classes £36

Introductory and intermediate classes for knitting and crochet will take place weekly during the day or evening. Learning the basics over a 6 sessions, you can drop in at any day or evening classes. Every six weeks we'll also have a different project for intermediate level. In November this is Socks, and Introduction to Fair Isle starts on 13th December. Ideal to get you started on your creative crafting adventures.

Needle Felting Picture
Workshop  £90

Learn how to create your own masterpiece using tiny barbed needles and vibrant sheep's wool roving in the incredibly addictive craft of needle felting. You will be taught the essential needle felting skills and techniques to build up the layers of your picture with different colours and textures. By the end of the day, you'll have your own dreamy landscape to take home.

25th May 10.30 -3.30 PM 
Thrug - Peg Loom Rug
Workshop  £90 

Your learn how to create a rustic Woven Rug using our unique Thrums and our own home made peg loom boards. The thrums (fabric yarn) is crafted from the woollen selvedge sourced from nearby Scottish Woollen Mills and comes in a wide range of fibres, style and colours. You leave with a finished rug and some new skills by the end of the day. A fabulously fun project for all levels of experience.

Spinning wheels available on loan, and private classes available on request.
